Cascades

The sky was, as usual, menacing Foix. But along the road between two massifs, it began to clear and we had lunch at the foot of the waterfalls. We then walked up and up through a dense greeness; large curled ferns, and crashing water, either side of calcified rock formations, through caves which looked like inverted brains, up to the slippery beech woods on the sharp slopes above the valley.
