Anyone who doesnt miss the past never had a mother

It's my birthday today.

We went to the Garden of Remembrance - my Mum's last resting place.

It was a beautiful day. We ate our lunch, enjoyed the sun and I remembered.
I remembered lots of birthdays. The hardest birthday was the one shortly after she passed away. I thought I would never have a Happy Birthday again.

A long road has been travelled since then. Happy times, sad times, difficult times. Times that made me cry and times that made me strong.
So, today, although there were a few tears, has been a Happy Birthday xx
