Drought!

When did we last have rain? I can't remember! This, believe it or not, is southern England and not some country of the south! Luckily the farm is on heavy clay, despite the large cracks appearing (my foot is there for a measuring stick!), and our crops aren't suffering as much as those on lighter land. The swallows are flying around looking for mud to build their nests but no such luck!

We shall make up for it later, we always do. I just hope we shall be able to harvest the crops easily this year!
