For the Love of Coffee

My day isn't started until I have my obligatory 2 cups of coffee. I recently ran out of ground coffee so its back to beans and the hand grinder. I actually like to grind it with this little machine. 147 turns for the perfect cup.. I have no idea how I picked that number. I think my coffee is one of the reasons I have friends.. hehehe. I am a bit of a hermit but its great to have people over for coffee in the morning.

China isn't that big on coffee. Well at least not yet. There isn't a Starbucks or any chain coffee shop here in Harbin. A lot of the bigger cities have them though, so it's coming. It is sometimes very hard to watch the simplicity of China disappearing under the weight of commercialism.
