guess what i learned today? schizoaffective disorder displays psychotic symptoms incongruent with mood; bipolar disorders display mood congruent psychotic symptoms (typically during the manic phase); and major depressive disorder (with psychotic features) also displays symptoms which are also mood congruent. i can't tell you how glad i am to finally know this (a hint of sarcasm there).
