Costa Del Sol-Way

On Sunday I took Nial for a drive round the scenic hotspots of the Solway Coast. It was a trip down memory lane, but all the better for having someone to share it with.

At Kippford we stopped for lunch then had a wander down the coastal path. I remembered the old man who used to turn bark into deers with a button for an eye. Now it seems he'd gone full pelt ahead, and everywhere you looked there was a gnome or a goblin, or a wooden stump with some false teeth.

Dalbeattie was a dirge of delightfullness.

Had a peek into Kirkcudbright but the combined effects of the old firm match and the changing weather soon made us turn homeward bound
