Switches

Monday again, another detail from the Youth Hostel. This time from the kitchen...
Not exactly sure what they're officially called, but a close description would be safety/main switches for the gas appliances...
But wouldn't it be much more interesting if I told you they are the valves to operate a part of a highly secret and dangerous government machine?!...
