We went out to by a new vacuum cleaner today. What happened? - every 'hoover' looks like it was designed to be worn as an 'off ship' survival pack from the film Alien.

Just the job for cleaning up the galaxy, although come to think of it the 'Nostromo' could have done with a bit of a scrub.

I blame it all on the Dyson. big and chunky with all the internals exposed.

I've just stopped myself from a full on rant there - it's only a carpet cleaner after all
