Stelos Pizzas, Copacabana

Stelos Pizzas here occupies a busy corner in Copacabana and had featured in a magazine and so we decided to check it out tonight. The pizzas definitely looked and smelled tempting, but Bb and I had both already separately clocked a Japanese place almost opposite. We had a beer here though in Stelos standing at the counter and they still work with the charming, old-fashioned system of going to the 'caixa' first to order (you can see it here on the left) and pay for what you want and are then issued with a ticket to present at the counter. All this is only indicated by notices in Portuguese, so God help you if you're a total foreigner!
