Castle Inn

Located next to river Wye bridge in Bakewell The Castle Inn was built in the 1600's.
At the moment it has a 2 meals for £10 deal which represents excellent value as the portions are very big.
It still retains a charm that is missing from so many bars these days and part of this is the open fire and flag stoned floor that it still retains.
Also there is a no TV policy. Although the fruit machines could find better use in an amusement arcade.
A good locals bar which is always busy come knocking off time where a well earned pint goes down very nicely.
