Tub of trees

Wandering round the grounds of a certain un-named stately home we noticed tiny little 2 leaf saplings sticking up all over the grass.

"They're trees" says my OH.

"Ya think?" says me.

Obviously none of them were going to last the next lawn cutting, so we dug up a couple and stashed them in our empty sandwich box.

Where they have sprouted into tiny little trees right enough.

Bonsai-able?

Better just concentrate on keeping them alive first huh?
