Moments Before the Crash

I returned from class this morning to find a whole row of gigantic icicles in front of my window. They were quite impressive.

Unfortunately, they didn't stick around for long. Approximately 2-3 minutes after taking this particular picture, the entire section of icicles disattached from the roof and plummeted towards the ground. It was a bit jarring.
