catflap of the olden days

back in the olden days one didn't fart around with digital catflaps, no, no, you just shut the dog in the barn and let him chew his way out - then the cats could go in and out as they pleased.

The cats are totally over-excited about the fact that we've cleared out the bit of the barn behind this door. I suspect they will be less excited when they see our plans for it involve mending this door and not letting them in anymore....
