This is BC. You may recognize those eyes from an earlier post where he has antlers. We were sitting in the office this morning and he told me to reach into his bag. I pull out this issue of National Geographic. It has a great article about Yosemite and the climbing that is going on there. BC is my mentor when it comes to climbing, we have been climbing all spring and he has taught me a ton. This issue is talking about the crazy new type of free climbing and free soloing that is taking place in the Yosemite Valley.

It is exciting to be surrounded by all this climbing all the time. BC is teaching me more and more everyday. Yesterday I purchased my own rack of quickdraws! They are the tools that are used to clip into bolts for lead climbing which is where I am moving to now. I will more than likely be hitting a wall this weekend...only time can tell.
