That First Step was No Yolk!

We've had a pair of Carolina Chickadee's in bird house atop a pole in one of our gardens. Today I found 4 newly-hatched chicks in the grass near the feeder. This one was flying a couple of feet at a time. The others weren't even moving.

We watched off and on from a distance and within an hour they were all of into the thick area behind our house.

I used a 100mm macro for this shot so I didn't have to get very close.
