On tip toes Basil can drink out of the bird bath. Why he would rather do this than drink from the dog water bowl about a metre away, I really don't know. I'm sure it's not a good idea! I had a go at making a collage of the before and after reprimand shots but it confused the upload data so I've put it here instead - note the shifty expression in the 'after' shot.

Well, I'm at home this morning and my car is in the garage being investigated for a scary noise it's making upon steering. I've told them I need it back by midday as I have to get to work but Plan B is to take the train.
