Making a run for it!

The weather was a bit uncertain this morning and I couldn't quite make my mind up to go out. In the end, I did some fettling around the house then had a few hours in the garden. Nature has softened some of the sharp edges left by the freak hailstorm at the weekend, so it wasn't so painful as I'd expected. The worst casualties were the pea seedlings, which had just emerged and were mercilessly shredded by enormous hailstones. The potential damage done by this garden visitor seemed quite mild by comparison, but at least he was headed off at the pass.
