On our way.

We set sail from Luderitz at noon and are now heading slowly back to our survey area. The seas are still quite rough but the forecast is gradually improving over the next few days... little consolation for those onboard who are looking a little green around the gills!

If you want to see more of yesterdays pictures taken from the air, above the Southern Namib Desert, I've uploaded some here. The aircraft wondows were pretty scratched and dirty so the colours didn't really come out as well as they might, so I added a bit more saturation to some of the shots to get a better idea how it really looked!
