Today's Adventure ... agreeing wholeheartedly with a bumper sticker...


Do not ask my why, but every since I have been a young whipper schnapper I have really liked Manatees. They are just so chill and pose no threat to anything other than your head of lettuce that you just dropped off your boat. They often get the shaft due to boat props and the fact that they can neither be used by the government or harvested for meat...but I feel for them.

Seeing this bumper sticker deep in the mountains of Montana, far from tropical waters on a pickup truck makes me smile. It also makes me feel part of the reason I love Missoula so much is because its inhabitants are very similar to Manatees...

-Chill
-Just doing their own thing
-Not giving anyone a hard time
-Loving those organic veggies
and typically floating through life with a goofy grin on their face
