the other royal wedding

Jack's nursery decided to hold an unusual celebration of tomorrow's royal wedding by staging their own version of it this afternoon. And so, dressed in our finest, Jack, Kate, my parents and I went along to witness a touching ceremony of friendship complete with bride, groom, best man, bridesmaids and vicar, performed by children with a maximum age of four years.

I have to say that whole thing was done so beautifully that I almost cried. Everybody dressed up, there was ceremonial music and the staff had painted a couple of murals to brighten the event up: one of Westminster Abbey and the above of Buckingham Palace.

There was a buffet, cake and more Union Flags than I have ever seen collected together in one place. My only worry is that the real wedding will now be naught but a pale imitation by comparison :0)
