Goodbye Old Girl

I spent today giving a final wash and brush up to my BM GS1150: tomorrow, if all goes well she will leave in a van with the man from 'we-buy-any-bike'. An unseemly end for what was for so many years my pride and joy, but doing only 156 miles in the last year tells the story - my love affair with motorbiking is over and my affections have switched to cycling. Ah well, I guess I need to see it as a positive thing: my bank manager will for sure. BMW ownership ain't cheap!
