Bairro

This was the view from my hotel room when I was here for a month in 2007, running a teacher training course. Little did I know that then, when I fell in love with Copacabana as a bairro, that we'd end up buying a little place a stone's throw away! For those interested, the market shot from yesterday and the recent fish stall shot were taken at the Wed market which takes place in the leafy square below. Today's pic was taken from the roof top pool area of the hotel where I stayed in 2007 and where we came to this afternoon for a caipirpska.
