watching waves
We spent the day on Gwynver beach at the north end of Whitesand Bay. Another sunny day and our last in Cornwall for a while (sadly).
I spent a fair part of the day watching waves, some with surfers on and some just being waves as they would surfers or not, watchers or not.
I was particularly fascinated by the collapse of the wave lip as it curls over and the wind catches it. Here's an example of an explosive moment at the end of a waves life.
