Getting into the Spirit of things!

i am not a royalist, but i do love pomp and occasion.
today the hype will reach it's crescendos and over the next few days, the nations obsession with all things Royal will gladly subside.

my kids yesterday had 'street' parties at school, annie was presented with a glass pendant commemorating the Royal wedding & Jonny's school designed mugs which my friend Michelle & I had to present to the school as co chairs of the PTA- we felt very grand!

tonight our village are having a very much postponed Christmas party (the caterers cancelled in December due to 3' of snow being dumped in Buckinghamshire)
