This is the definition of vulgar taken from wikipedia and sums up the royal wedding for me.

To have the royal family display such unashamed vulgarity is an absolute disgrace and shows how far removed they are from reality. Especially at a time where "Commoners" (as the media have taken great delight in branding us) are losing our homes and jobs and struggling to make ends meet.
