Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly
A pretty butterfly for a lovely day; a happy, joyful respite from the fury of Mother Nature and man's inhumanity to man. Such a gorgeous creature, fluttering to and fro in my lantana bushes; in fact there were two of them, but beyond me to catch them both in the same shot. The wingspan of these butterflies is 2.5 to 4 inches; their size definitely makes it easier to capture them than the tiny ones, and the fact that they are only steps from my front door is a definite plus, when I am glued to the pomp and ceremony, and enjoying being part of the estimated two billion people viewing around the world.
