crap day

it's not been a good day which is a pity as I was really looking forward to it.

Just shows what a mistake it is to anticipate

Much better just to enjoy things as they come along.

Instead of going out and meeting friends for a bit of an afternoon do ended up digging yet more bindweed roots out of the garden.

On the plus side I've cleared another chunk of the wilderness I keep getting told about.

On the minus side I didn't get to sit with my friends and chat and have a bite to eat and a drink and a laugh.
