Completely unrelated...
... to the Royal Wedding; mainly because I wasn't in London, but also because there were no Street Parties or Flypasts in the vicinity.
Following a cull of one of the, self-seeded, Buddleia bushes earlier in the week we can now see, much more clearly, one of our Hazels (the big leaves) and the Clematis I planted a few years ago.
The Clematis is a Clematis Montana and I chose it, not because it grows vigourously and flowers profusely, although they are both excellent reasons, but because my Grandfather had one in his garden and I remember very vividly him telling me what it was.
So, on a day full of memories and happy things I bring you a symbol of one of my happy memories.
