Oddity

I was given this plant on Mothers Day 2 years ago and it had 2 or 3 flowers. I watered it on and off for the year and it flowered again with 3 flowers, one of them odd. After another year of relative neglect is is flowering once again, with at least 4 flowers, including another odd one.
It is as if 2 buds has fused sides to make a centre like a mouth. Can I successfully neglect it another year, and what will I get?
