When Ah waz a lad...

we used to "collect car numbers" by writing any we saw on little note books. YES I am that old and yes there weren't so many around. I remember 2 uncles with cars and going for a quick, 2 mile spin in a neighbour's Renault Dauphine. He announced at one point "Look, foot hard to the floor and it'll do SIXTY miles an hour.
Now I collect them differently.
