Royal Kiss

Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch the whole wedding ceremony, it started way too early here in the US.

But when I got to work I went into our conference room and turned on the big flat screen because I had heard on the radio that the new Dutch and Dutchess were about to give their first public kiss. HOW ROMANTIC and this was the perfect fairy tale kiss. Every girl in the world has had this dream.

I was thrilled that I captured the moment, even though a million photographers had already captured it and this kiss is already all over the internet, the point is I took this photo at precisely the right moment when it wa televised! GO ME :)

I didn't think I'd get that excited, I guess because we've all watched Prince William grow up. I felt so happy for him, but also sadness because Diana was not there for this proud moment in her sons life and I know William was missing her today.

My son is getting married this year and the thought of not being there rips my heart out.

I'm sure she was looking down on them both, they had a beautiful ceremony and a beautiful day. I heard that 1/3 of the world watched their wedding today.
