Ramshackle

I have had a massive day of BBQ area refurbishment. This morning I removed the rest of the pavers as well as the stove. Jo helped of course. Earlier I had bought some semi-decent second hand hardwood beams. The rest of the day was spent cutting slots in them so that they would fit nice and level with the frame.

I won't deny that it was hard work. Our ground is still waterlogged from the flooding and constant rain we have had over summer. The water table is literally inches below the surface so digging out the crushed dust was heavy going.

Now that the support base is done I can look forward to tomorrow knowing that the hard part is behind me. Well I hope it is anyway.
