I have no idea what or why ....

What is the purpose of having a woman's head and shoulders on a spike and why would anyone want to pay £8 for one?

I guess putting women's (and men's) heads on spikes wasn't unusual at the time of, say, the French Revolution but I really did think we'd moved on somewhat.

I've tagged this image 'sculpture' because I didn't really think 'meaningless tat' would be very helpful.

You can certainly find some strange things on Norwich market ....
