Saturday: Denial

Spent the day sorting out the garden and making it all purty.  This is very much K's domain - I just do what I am told.  K. went to Liverpool for two days and in that time I succeeded in almost completely killing off our new bedding plants.  We have moved our sick plants to the side and are calling it our hospital ward.  I am not allowed to visit.

So the garden may be pretty but this is our back alley - it was a mess when we moved in three years ago and it is a mess now.  We do mean to tackle it at some point, but, for now, I'll just close the gate again and pretend I haven't taken this picture.  Messy back alley?  What alley?

Mum has been visiting - busy, busy, busy but a lot of fun!
