Lentfest here we come

This is a fun folk song by Gretchaninoff It is a piece from our repertoire which is being performed at our forthcoming concert as part of Lentfest in Glasgow on Thursday May 5th at 7.30 in the newly refurbished St Andrew's Cathedral.

We are a small mixed voice choir called Russkaya Cappella, specialising in Russian music.

Some of us are russian speakers (though not many) and the rest of us just try to get our teeth round the tricky stuff as best we can.

It provides a great workout, physical, mental and spiritual, as some of the music is balm for the soul . It is great fun and the people are fab.

I am sorting my music today and will need to practice like mad before next Thursday-wish us luck.
