Celebration

April 30th in Holland is Queen's day and all go outdoors in good moods. Free market flea market selling the contains of the attic corners etc. and outgrown toys and comics. Music is played on the streets and here some guys enjoyed a jamsession from across the canal. All out to generate pleasure and enjoy leisure.

April 30 has been Queen's day in Holland since Juliana was queen, she had her anniversary on the 30th. Her daughter Beatrix took over the reign on April 30th in 1980 and thus Queen's day continues to be on that date in Spring.
