Mesmerising fire basket

My first BBQ of the year round a friends house. I smell of smoke and my eyes are sore from the fire basket that kept us warm after the sun set, yet I never seem to mind as the warm glow and mesmerising flames make up for it. I took my dog and he was fairly well behaved for a puppy. Hubby joined us later after he finished work. My friends children seem to be growing at an alarming rate and it was nice to see them play well together. I feel like I'm going to sleep well tonight after being outdoors for a long time today. Hubby and pups are already snoring on the sofa, cuddled up!
