M40

To Birmingham and back today - round trip of nearly 400 miles. Thought I'd vary the scenery a bit on the way back so came down the M40, through Worcestershire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire before picking up the M25 and the A12.

What I didn't get a shot of was the 'village' of Bournville - where they make or is that made? the chocolate. Looked very interesting as I drove through it - normally I would not go that way and just turn round and head back through Edgbaston and the centre of Brum.

Just watched two episodes of Spiral on BBC Four - nearly the end of the series. Must say it has been quite refreshing to see some French cutting edge drama on British tv for a change. *Says in hushed voice* - this may be the only French cutting edge drama! (Having seen quite a bit of French tv over the years).
