Kaiapoi Lakes in Autumn

A day described as 'Pea Soup', not a hint of blue sky to be seen. It was better in Christchurch when I took Daughter E to work but pretty dismal north of the city and inland.

A quick stroll at the lakes - the grass was wet, the air damp and a slight breeze. Mallard ducks and black swans to be seen with the odd pied shag ducking and diving for food.  Plenty of Autumn colour with greens becoming more golden, not a lot of red to be found in this area.
