Lone leaf

I wanted to select a picture today that summed up the volume of autumn that surrounds us in our city at the moment.

I couldn't find a suitable pile of leaves to do that so I settled for a solitary leaf - all alone and deprived of his brothers and sisters after a spring and summertime together full of memories. They grew up, grew old and then were scattered to the wind.
