Nuclear power

The twin cooling towers of Centrale, EDF's nuclear power station at Golfech. It is sandwiched on a spur between La Garonne and le Canal Lateral de la garonne (le Canal de Deux Mers) and as you can see very close to Golfech (left) and Valence d'Agen (right). When I went swimming in la piscine d'hiver in Golfech (heated by Centrale) I could look up and see, and it felt like touch, the towers, they are so close to the village an there is a helpful poster in the foyer telling you want to do in the case of a nuclea emergency. I think with the plant that close to habitation the best thing to do would be pray.
