Meet the new neighbours.

Our lovely family next door were out in the garden as we set off for our walk this afternoon. We were invited to call back and see the additions to the household. I knew this had been planned (hoped for), fortunately the man of the house had been easier than expected to persuade. These two were collected from the Blue Cross this morning, they are litter twins, Bella on the left and Bandit on the right. I couldn't believe how relaxed they were and they played endlessly with each other and their toys. I took about 50 pictures and not one of them was much good. They were so energetic that most of my shots are blurry or one or both kittens were just disappearing out of view. This is the best of the bunch, I will try and do better another time.
Another fantastic day with wall to wall sunshine. The garden is so very dry that we fear for some of the plants. The hose is kept busy at the moment.
