hardy geranium

I love the blue of these and their delicacy

They died back to nothing this year (the cold winter I suppose) and there wasn't much to see a couple of weeks ago.

They're not one of the great big bully boy geraniums - I've got some of those too.

Their papery flowers are a lot tougher than they look though

I've been working in the garden most of the day, I've cleared a pile of dead and overgrown stuff including two enormous bushes from the raised bed by the back doors and been picking up absolute mountain of dead growth from clearing the pergola

I've just planted some tomatoes, sage and white petunias in the raised bed and I'm going to do some lettuce and more herbs tomorrow

I've got quite a lot of seeds to plant too, I'm hoping they're not too late...............
