Lake Tekapo Sunrise

The view this morning from the holiday house we rented. You can just see some of the lake peeking between the trees.

Despite the rotten forecast, the weather turned out to be perfect for the mountain bike race (Pass2Pub - Burkes Pass to the Albury Tavern). The nicest race I've ever ridden - really great course. And very short - only 35 kilometres.

The driving rain started about 3 minutes after I finished. A pretty marvellous weekend!
