Butterfly

We went for a lovely, child-friendly walk in the Lake District (which is conveniently on our new doorstep....) today, and both little chessicles did very well, including lmc in her new walking boots. About half-way round our planned route, as we were just coming into Finsthwaite, I spotted this butterfly feeding on a dandelion, and it was kind enough to ignore both little chessicles, and the wind, and let me snap it repeatedly - and this is the best of those shots.

I also got a cool shot of an owl, as it sat on its perch to raise funds for an owlish charity.
