Cormorant

It's been a wee while since I've blipped one of these....After a morning weeding the allotment, I took a trip down to Ocean Terminal to get a few supplies and to see how the birdlife was looking.
Numerous eider duck and this cormorant, but I was most pleased to see that the terns have returned from the southern hemisphere. I couldn't manage a decent shot of one, though; they were all wheeling about over their colony, screaming and offering fish to one another and doing high-speed manoeuvring as the mating season gets underway.

The other thing I did was to load up a bunch of photos from last week's trip away onto another site.
