Bluebell wood

It is hard to capture the intensity of the blue of the bluebells in an ancient English bluebell wood. The photo I have chosen gives a flavour of the deep deep blue.

This is Yoxall Lodge, where they have resisted the Spanish bluebell intruders and kept it pure.


There were prettier photos of the woodland, but the bluebell was not the star.
