Matyó art
Today, Ildi and I headed north east of Budapest to the Tokaji region of Hungary, there to languish in the thermal waters of the Balneo hotel Hot water in Mezokövesd Spa town . The hotel's hot spring baths (38 degrees) were deeply relaxing Chill time if sulphurously stinky, but the WC facilities in our room seemed more suited to someone of the extreme lankiness of my dear friend Damian Grounds, since my poor little legs could not reach the floor High WC (please note, for scale only, I realize that one needs to divest oneself of undergarb before ascending and using).
We dined in the Rózsa étterem adjacent to the hotel and opposite the main thermal baths of the town, a spacious restaurant decked out with the colourful artwork of the matyó region, as this blip shows.
