When there's nothing else...

count on the dandelion! I had a profusion of shots to chose from yesterday, but today the rain settled in again, so I went to the old fall-back outside my doorstep. :)

At least I got some stuff done around the house (the laundry basket had been beckoning.. sigh...) and started reading a fascinating book (Lost in Shangri-La), a true account of a plane crash in the-then unexplored rain forests of New Guinea island, towards the end of WWII. It's hard to imagine encountering a brand new civilization nowadays (esp under those circumstances...). Has a bit of an Indiana Jones feeling to it, but with a way starker and scarier reality.
