I'm ashamed to say I don't know what kind of blossom this is - just that it was on a tree outside the pub where H had his birthday meal. Is 2 too young to go to the pub for birthday celebrations, I wonder?

The day was also spent waiting on tenterhooks for news of the arrival of H and P's new baby cousin - eventually born at 9pm by emergency caesarian (fortunately both mum and baby fine). A very exciting end to a happy day - and what a lovely birthday present for H!
